Delvebound 5.5: Priest Subclasses

Priests devote themselves to the service of the Divines, Daedric Princes, or other sacred powers, drawing upon faith, conviction, and magic to fulfill a higher calling. By shielding the weak from harm, restoring the wounded, and curing the sick, they answer suffering and adversity through compassion, resolve, and unwavering purpose.
United through vocation, Priests swear sacred oaths and wield Restoration magic to aid the weary and innocent. Though preferring peace over violence, they are not afraid to use their knowledge of destructive forces to strike when no other options remain. Through faith, experience, and service, Priests become an unwavering light in even the darkest battles.
A Priest Subclass is a specialization that grants you features at certain Priest levels, as specified in the subclass. This section presents the Bastion of Light, Healer, and Pilgrim subclasses.
If you're new to Delvebound, the Priest class is simply a reskin fo the Cleric class from D&D 5.5e, but we offer three unique subclasses to add to the list. Overall, I was really excited about the updates to the Cleric from the 2014 ruleset, quickly allowing the Pilgrim in my homegame to update their base class to the new 2024 version. I think my favorite changes were the Divine Order and Blessed Strikes features, which took some of features that would shoehorn a subclass into a certain playstyle, giving it to the main class, and allowing the player to decide for themselves. Those and the change to Divine Intervention were huge quality of life improvements for me and my table.
If you're a veteran to Delvebound, this is another simple subclass update that is mostly formatting revisions to match the new 5.5e style. The Pilgrim has the most changes overall, but even those are fairly limited. I have been really happy with how these subclasses felt in my homegames and felt they mostly just needed a format change.
