Delvebound 5.5: Barbarian Subclasses

It's been a while. A long while! The last post was six whole months ago! Finally something new to share.

Over the last many months, we started really digging into what the next version of Delvebound would look like. The mythical version 1.5 has been talked about for years without any real timeline for a full release. Since then, D&D released an updated ruleset, which they first called D&D One, then D&D 5e24. They've since started calling it D&D 5.5e. Three whole name changes to the new ruleset, and not much word from us.

Way back in October, we released the 2024 edition Ranger playtest, which I suppose is now the 5.5 Ranger. Now we are ready to share our next playtest, featuring three new / revised subclasses for the Barbarian, made specifically for the updated 5.5 rules. We took what we loved about some of the original Delvebound subclasses and refired and rearranged them until they became something more.
