Delvebound 5.5: Necromancer

Necromancers study the mysteries of life and death, creatively exploiting the energies that exist in all mortal beings. Through these lingering forces, they manipulate the soul to empower their spells, bind souls into service, or spread illness and decay across Tamriel. They are wielders of powers only accessed through the boundary of the veil.
Commanding these dark arts means that Necromancers walk a path often viewed with fear and suspicion. Some wield their magic with restraint, employing magic nearly indistinguishable from restorative practices, while others embrace the powers of their forbidden craft. Whether they conceal their abilities or defy the taboos, Necromancers command forces few dare to understand.
Along with the entire updated class, the Necromancer also features three subclasses and a brand new Epic Boon: Boon of Transcendence. A Necromancer subclass is a specialization that grants features at certain Necromancer levels, as specified in the subclass. This post includes the Baleful Summoner, Deathbringer, and Flesh Sculptor subclasses.
The Necromancer has been fully updated to the 5.5e format and style. This is the second class to see a full update, after the Ranger, and the first to feature a brand new Epic Boon. I have always been very pleased with the Necromancer. Earlier this year, my home game concluded where I was able to see a player go from Level 1 all the way to Level 20 with this class. The update includes a couple of small balance tweaks and qualtity of life improvements, most notably streamlining the earlier class features.
With this post, we've hit a milestone and entered into a new era of Delvebound updates. From here on out, each class update will be the full class, with Sorcerer coming next!
