Official Delvebound Wiki
I am so excited to finally launch the latest website! This is a soft launch, as the content is still being added slowly over time, so please be gentle and patient as it all comes together. Adding all the content in has made it very apparent just how much content this project has generated over the years! When you can see it all in one place, it is mind blowing!
If you want to get there now, check out this link!
As mentioned, this is a soft launch. A work in progress. And it's a work in progress that will likely stay a work in progress for a very long time. We started this way back in June 2021, with a wordpress website that we started and abandoned before that in favor of the easy to use wiki format. We are currently adding a bunch of the already published material, and have updated some of the things to match what will be coming in the future. For the time being, the wixsite will stay up, as it has some of the 1.4 information that is slowly being replaced in favor of the upcoming 1.5 rules. Eventually, we will have pages here for the deprecated content, for those of you who still want easy access to the 1.4 crusader, for example. Also, just to keep a proper log.
I think one of the exciting things for me is how useful the wiki is. The Search bar can be used to ... get this ... ACTUALLY search for things! A novel idea! We're slowly adding in all the items and spells, which are loaded into sortable tables, so you can quickly find what you're looking for. Once all the info is placed in, it will be an absolutely incredible tool to use! It's also incredible to go to the item list and start scrolling through how much content already exists (and it hasn't even all been added yet!!)
What else is there? Oh yes! The new wiki will (eventually) include ALL information. I love making the books. I think they look great. The book making aspect of the project was one of my driving focuses. I avoided putting the information on the original website because the main point of the project was the books. As the project has evolved and grown, keeping all the content reserved to PDFs starts to get a little out of hand. Newcomers have expressed that there is an overwhelming amount of downloads with no idea where to begin. Of course, there is still an overwhelming amount of information, but with it all contained here on the wiki, in a way that is relatively easy to navigate, it should alleviate some of those issues.
I still love the books, and I hope you do, too! But hopefully this also helps get new content out faster. Instead of waiting on things to go through editing and layout, they can immediately get placed on the wiki. When issues come up, or typos get pointed out, those can be resolved in real time. Instead of waiting ... 4 years for the next updated rule set ... things can slowly get updated over time. It might be a bit of a pain as we grow, but I am so excited for the potential.
Another really cool feature of the wiki is the addition of community based content. Outside of the 'official' unofficial content, we also have a place to showcase everything you've made. Have a cool spellsword subclass you've been tinkering with? Make an account and create a page for it in the Community Creations! Have an idea for new items or spells, or guilds or .. anything! You can upload it there to show off and for others to use.
I am very excited for this new chapter with Delvebound / UESTRPG, and I hope you will too!
