Delvebound: Heritages Part II
The second of the three part series, in this post we look at the next three Heritages: Dunmer, Imperial, and Khajiit (and there's a lot of them!).
Each of these come with their own Ancestral Traits (this could be thought of as their racial traits—traits that come from their lineage) and Cultural Traits (societal influences of their upbringing). Imperial is separated into their Colovian and Nibenese subcultures, and the Khajiit have an incredible range of subancestries, which they owe to the two moons of Tamriel.
I had considered breaking down the Dunmer into different cultures for the Great Houses and the Ashlanders, but the Great Houses will be getting their own factions, complete with benefits, which might start to feel a bit like double-dipping into that Redoran goodness. Ashlanders could be broken down into a culture of their own in the future or be created as a background instead. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this! Share them here or directly in the doc below!
